Materials:
- Orange yarn
- Small scraps of brown and green felt for stem and leaves
- Scissors
- Hot glue (or craft glue) for gluing on stem
- Eyes (Optional)
Sizing:
- About 2 inches tall and 2 inches wide.
Pattern Notes:
- Make with or without eyes.
- Try making some in other pumpkin colors too!

Instructions To Make The Pom Pom:
- Cut a piece of yarn about 6-8 inches long and set aside.
- Wrap yarn around all 4 fingers of your hand to make a thick bundle (I did about 125 wraps around my hand)
- Carefully slip your hand out of the bundle and set down.
- Tie yarn around the entire bundle very tightly.
- Holding the two strands you just ties, cut all of the loops.
- Snip yarn ends neatly to make a smooth round ball shape.
- If you want to tie this onto something, leave the two yarn ties. If not, you can snip them off.
Assembly:
- Trim brown felt into a small rectangle shape for the stem.
- Trim green felt into a small leaf shape (oval with two pointed ends) for the leaf.
- Glue both to the top of the pumpkin.
- If you want, you can glue eyes onto the pumpkin too.
- Allow to cool and dry completely before using.
