Materials:
- 12 inch wreath form ( used a wire form, but a smooth foam form would work well too. Avoid more “bumpy” wreaths like grapevine or other branch styles, etc as it would be too difficult to solidly cover with the eggs).
- Plastic Easter eggs (I used 80 of them in various colors for the wreath shown)
- Hot glue
- Scrap piece of yarn, ribbon, or string to make a hanging loop on the back
- Optional: ribbon and scissors if you want to make a bow
Sizing:
- Wreath shown is on a 12 inch wreath form so the finished wreath is just slightly bigger than 12 inches wide to account for the overhang of the eggs.

Project Notes:
- Try experimenting with different kinds of eggs you can find. I’ve seen pastel, speckled, glitter, and even sequin covered eggs too!
- Bow is optional. If you are not a fan of making bows but still want one on your wreath, you can find premade bows at the craft store.
Instructions:
- Place a piece of scrap paper or newspaper to protect your work surface before you begin. The hot glue tends to drip through when placing the eggs.
- Tie a small hanging loop to the back top center of the wreath.
- Begin by gluing eggs to the form, making sure to randomize and spread out the colors that you are working with.
- Cover the form with the eggs, then turn the wreath at different angles to be sure there are no holes or the form is showing through. Add more eggs as needed.
- Let the glue cool/dry completely.
- If you want you can add a bow. I made the bow, glued it right on then neatly trimmed the tails.
- Once the glue has set, your wreath is ready to hang. Happy spring and Easter crafting!
