Materials:
- Fall leaves
- Crayons without paper label around them
- Thin paper like printer paper (thinner paper will give you the best results for the leaf rubbing and show the most detail)
- Construction paper in fall colors (I used red, green, yellow, and orange)
- Glue or tape
- Hole punch
- Yarn or string

Project Notes:
- Try collecting different sizes and shapes of leaves to mix it up!
- You can also try using different colorful papers to glue to the back of the leaf rubbings. It is also a great way to use leftover paper scraps from other projects. Try origami paper, metallic paper, scrapbooking paper, and more!

Instructions:
- Collect leaves from outside. Be sure they are dry before using.
- Lay a piece of paper over a leaf and with the side of a crayon, rub it over the paper with the leaf under it. The image of the leaf will be revealed.
- Cut out the leaf.
- Mount to a piece of colorful paper using glue or tape (I used double sided tape, but use whatever you have on hand)
- Cut out, leaving a colorful border around the leaf image (see above photo for example)
- Repeat for as many leaf images as you like,
- With a hole punch, make two holes side by side at the top of each leaf.
- String them together suing yarn/string.
- Your garland is ready to hang! Hang in a doorway, window, mantel or in a classroom!
