Paper Snowflake Chains

Instructions:

  • Grab a piece of construction paper and cut longways a strip about 3 inches wide.
  • Fold in a zig zag shape, making each fold about an inch wide.
  • Before opening it up, draw a 1/2 snowflake design of your choice, making sure the design overhangs the folds on both sides.
  • Cut your design out, taking special care to leave some of the paper folds intact (this will ensure they stay connected when you pull them apart)
  • Open the snowflake chain up and enjoy!
  • If you want to add more designs and openings in your snowflake, you can always fold it back into an accordion shape and make some more cuts. Just be careful to leave some folds in it so it can stay connected.
