Easter Egg Garland, Craft Tutorial + Video

Materials:

  • Plastic Easter eggs (important–be sure they have the safety holes at either end of them, this is how they will be strung. If they don’t have holes in them, simply open them up and close them back up over your string)
  • Yarn, twine, string, or narrow ribbon (any of these will work well)
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry/yarn needle

Project Notes:

  • Try painting the eggs or decorating them for a variety of looks. You can glue on little things like beads, buttons, sequins and anything else you can find!
  • Add a little something extra by adding a large bead or tying ribbon in between each egg.
  • If you are placing your garland outdoors, add a small weight in each one to keep it from blowing around. You can use a pebble or something similar.
  • If you need a little more help, be sure to check out the video tutorial above too!
