Materials:

  • Small artificial bunny topiaries (you can find these either in the seasonal spring area of a store or in the self flower aisle)

  • Stuffing for the inside of the pot to give the bunny stability (crumpled paper, bubble wrap, tissue paper, packing material all works well)
  • Artificial greenery (I used a stem of plastic boxwood for the topiaries shown)
  • Wire cutters
  • Small piece of ribbon to wrap around the clay pot, enough length to wrap around the top edge of the pot

Instructions to make a mini bunny topiary craft::

  • Stuff the bottom of a clay pot so that it is just below level of the top of the pot (see list above for stuffing ideas, does not need to be anything fancy, stuffing will be completely hidden)
  • Glue stuffing in place with hot glue.
  • Glue bunny to pot and stuffing base.
  • Cut apart greenery stem into smaller greenery bits with wire cutters.
  • Glue greenery into place all round to give it a natural look and also to hide any gaps in between the bunny and pot.
  • To add a little extra finished touch, wrap a piece of ribbon around the top rim of the pot. Be sure the seam where the two ends meet is in the back.
  • Let topiary completely cool and dry and it is ready to display!
