This Sparkle Monster Bookmark craft is a super cute activity that adds lots of fun to your reading time! Make it in minutes and experiment with different items to make each one have their own personality. Perfect for summer reading, class or library activity, Halloween craft, or even a party favor too!
Materials:
- Wooden craft sticks (multicolor pre-painted shown here, but you can paint them too if you like)
- Large pom pom for the monster’s head
- Small pom pom for the monster’s nose
- Googly eyes
- Hot glue (or craft glue)
Sizing:
- Each bookmark is about 6 inches tall.

Project Notes:
- Try different kinds of pom poms of different sizes and colors for all kinds of silly monsters!
- You can use two eyes like I did or even try three eyes too!
- To save time and mess, use pre-painted craft sticks.
- As an alternative you can use buttons or beads for the nose and eyes too!
- Make these for a summer reading craft or even Halloween party activity.

Instructions:
- Lay a craft stick flat onto a surface.
- Craft stick shown were in a pre painted pack, but you can paint yours too if you like.
- Glue the large pom pom near the top for the monster’s head.
- Glue a small pom pom to the center of the large pom pom for the monster’s nose.
- Glue eyes above the nose.
- Allow glue to completely cool/dry before using.
- Happy reading with your fun new bookmark!
