Check out this cute felt links garland craft for a fun splash of happy color to your space. This pretty garland is easily made with just some felt and a bit of glue! Perfect for all of those felt scraps leftover from other projects and is a little more durable than the traditional paper link garlands. This reusable garland perfect for a party, classroom decor, or a craft room too!
Materials:
- Colorful felt in any colors you like
- Scissors
- Hot glue
- Ruler or tape measure
Sizing:
- Garland can be made as one as you like by simply adding more links.
- Each felt strip is 9 inches long and 2 inches wide before gluing together.

Project Notes:
- Make one for any occasion in different color combinations–red and green for the holidays, pink and red for Valentines, or colors to match a specific party theme.
- Add glitter or other embellishments for a little extra sparkle.
- Using puffy paint or fabric paint, try adding letters to each link to spell out a special message or someone’s name too!

Instructions:
- Gather up felt sheets and scraps to see what colors you like best together and in what order sequence you want the colors to be.
- Cut felt into strips, each 9 inches long and 2 inches wide.
- Make the first link by bring the ends together and gluing them together.
- Make the second link by putting it through the first link and gluing the ends together.
- Repeat adding more links until the garland is as long as you want!
- As the garland grows, you may need to allow the hot glue to set up a bit and cool as you work and add more links. This will help the links from coming apart if the glue is still soft.
- As your garland grows, be sure to hide the seams of each link by spinning the seams around to the inside so they do not show.
- Allow glue to full dry/cool before hanging.
- You can tape the garland directly to a wall or add a string or piece of yarn to the links on either end to help you hang it up.
