Let’s make an easy knit rose! This sweet and simple project is fun to do and a very quick little project too! Make a whole bouquet of them or add them to a pin, headband, gift topper and lots more!

Materials:
- US 6 mm straight knitting needles
- Several yards of worsted weight yarn
- Yarn/tapestry needle
- Scissors
Sizing:
- Abut 2 inches wide-however, using different yarn weights will change the size of the rose (for example bulkier yarn will make the rose bigger)
Pattern Notes:
- Experiment with different types o yarn and yarn weights for a variety of looks for your rose.

- KFB is short for “knit into the front and back of each stitch”
Instructions:
- CO 5 stitches.
- Row 1: KFB each stitch (10 stitches on the needle)
- Row 2: Purl all stitches.
- Row 3: KFB each stitch (20 stitches on the needle)
- Row 4: Purl all stitches.
- Row 5: KFB each stitch (40 stitches on the needle)
- BO all stitches, leaving a long tail for seaming.
Finishing & Assembly:
- Wrap rose into a coil shape.
- Using the tapestry/yarn needle, seam rose together.
- If sewing the rose onto something you can leave the tails intact and use them to sew it. If gluing it, you can either weave in the tails or trim them flush.
