
Let’s make some paper heart chains! This easy and fun paper project can be made in about a minute and is great for Valentine’s Day, making a unique mini card, or even a gift or cake topper too! It takes very minimal materials too. In fact, you could use this craft as a way to use scraps of different paper in a fun and unique way! Here’s what you’ll need:
- A piece of construction paper (any color you like!)
- Scissors
- Pencil
Note: you can also use other paper you may have on hand. Try something unique like gift wrap, origami paper or even an old art project!
Here’s how to make Paper Heart Chains!
- Cut out a strip of construction paper, about an inch or two wide.
- Fold the strip into an accordion shape (like a zig zag).
- Keeping the accordion folded together, lightly sketch a heart onto the top of the accordion.
- Carefully cut the heart out, keeping the side paper folds intact as you cut around.
- Open your chain and voila! Paper heart chain!
